Dr Nam Han Cho
President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF)
Professor of Preventive Medicine at the Ajou University School of Medicine in South Korea.
In recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements in epidemiology through large and prospective cohort studies regarding the epidemiology of diabetes complications and also of prevention of diabetes in Korea, he has received The Chivalic Royal order with Mahasena Grade (Grand Officer) Insignia from the King of Kingdom of Cambodia, the health outstanding scientific award, and the National health service award from the minister of health of Korean.
