Scheduling patient appointments
You may make a referral at any time by using MedLink pro.
If you need to call us for scheduling an appointment, please remember to provide the following information about your patient:
• Name
• Address
• Phone number
• Date of birth
• Sekwa registration number (if a previous patient)
• Type of insurance
• Nature of medical issue
We also need to know your name, your hospital name, your contact phone numbers and the services you would like BRIVS to provide.
Patients with urgent medical or surgical needs are given priority in the appointment system.
Medical records
The Referring Provider Office will obtain your patient’s medical records at BRIVS once he or she is seen and ensure that you receive them in a timely manner. You may also use our online services with MedLink pro to access your patient’s records at any time.
Summary report
Our physicians will forward a summary of diagnostic reports and treatments to you as soon as it becomes available. If you have not been contacted by your patient’s physician at BRIVS, please contact the Referring Provider Office for assistance.
Hospital admissions and transfers
Experienced nursing staff is available to coordinate direct admission, or inpatient consultation on your patients for Sekwa Eye Hospital.
Online services for referring providers
By joining BRIVS Associates, you may work with the BRIVS’ team closely via MedLink Pro. You may view clinical results on your patients, including clinical notes, images and reports of technical examinations, test results, surgical summaries, discharge notes, etc.
